The High Priest’s Garments: Types and Shadows of the Garments of Grace We Have in Christ – Part 3
Bible Text: Exodus 28:4, Exodus 28:31, Exodus 28:33-35, Exodus 39:23 | Preacher: Marco Bravo* | Series: The High Priest’s Garments: Types and Shadows of the Garments of Grace We Have in Christ
In the Old Covenant, God’s high priests were selected, appointed and dressed by God. Each high priestly garment was carefully designed and made according to God’s specifications. As we study through scripture, we find that much of the Old Covenant serves as types and shadows of what we find in the New Covenant and this certainly applies to the high priest and his garments. The Old Covenant high priest was a type of Jesus Christ as our high priest and the garments that the Old Covenant high priest wore were types and shadows of what we have in Christ as believers. In this five part series we explore these garments and what they mean for us today.
