Paul says we are NOT justified by works, James says we ARE – Who’s Right?

Both apostles Paul and James make a reference to Abraham in relation to his justification. Paul states that Abraham was not justified by works; James states that he was justified by works. What first appears to be a contradiction and a major issue of contention unfolds into a liberating, congruent and harmonious new covenant truth.
